Project Code Red Inc ("Project Code Red," "we," "us," or "our") is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. We use this website to explain our mission, share events, receive questions, direct visitors to donation and merchandise services, and support volunteer participation.

This policy applies to this website. It does not replace the privacy policies of third-party websites or services that are linked, embedded, or used by the site.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and message content submitted through the contact form or by email.
  • Donation information: information processed by PayPal when you choose to donate. We do not receive or store full payment card details on this website.
  • Merchandise information: information processed by Printify when you visit or purchase from the merchandise store.
  • Volunteer or event information: information submitted through Google Forms or similar forms used for volunteer hours, event participation, or program administration.
  • Technical information: basic server and security logs, such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Media or social information: information you choose to provide when interacting with Project Code Red through social media, creator links, or media submissions.

How We Use Information

We use personal information only for reasonable nonprofit and website purposes, including to:

  • respond to questions, messages, and business inquiries;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website;
  • process or direct donations, merchandise orders, volunteer hours, and event participation;
  • coordinate programs, service opportunities, community events, and recognition activities;
  • keep records needed for nonprofit operations, safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations;
  • send updates only where a person has requested or reasonably expects a response.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use this website to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may share information in limited cases:

  • Service providers: with providers that help operate the website and related services, including Vercel, FormSubmit, Google, PayPal, Printify, YouTube, and jsDelivr.
  • Program administration: with trusted Project Code Red team members or partners when needed to coordinate events, volunteer records, or nonprofit programs.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to respond to lawful requests.

Third-party services handle information under their own policies. Relevant policies include FormSubmit, PayPal, Printify, Google, and Vercel.

Children and Youth

This website is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. If you are under 13, do not submit personal information through the contact form unless a parent or guardian is involved.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 was submitted without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it or obtain parent or guardian consent where required. Youth-related events, volunteer programs, or forms may require parent or guardian involvement depending on the activity.

Cookies and Tracking

The website may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for basic functionality, embedded content, security, and hosting. Third-party services embedded or linked from the site may use their own cookies or tracking technologies.

We do not currently run interest-based advertising cookies through this website. The site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no consistent industry standard for those signals. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No website, email service, or third-party platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Some requests may be limited by legal, safety, nonprofit recordkeeping, or third-party platform requirements. If your request relates to PayPal, Printify, Google, YouTube, FormSubmit, or another third-party service, you may also need to contact that service directly.
